I hate feeling alone and unloved on my birthday

I hate how alone and unloved I am on my birthday, everyone sends happy birthday messages but all of them are empty. I always laugh it off and say I don't care about birthdays to not sound childish or needy, but deep down I care and u want to feel special but I never say it, cause I deeply believe that beautiful and worthy things don't ask for attention, and I'm not so I'd never ask.
